This page is a plain-language draft. Have a lawyer in your country read it before you rely on it.
Using the app
- The app helps you study Mandarin Chinese (HSK) and, in some versions, Arabic. Use it for your own learning.
- Some things are free. Other things (levels, mock exams, teacher courses) are bought. What is free and what costs money is shown in the app.
- You must give true information when you create an account and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
What you get when you buy
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to study the item on the phones you sign in to. It is a one-time payment unless the app says otherwise.
- You may not copy, record, download, share or sell the lessons, videos, audio, slides or documents. Paid videos are protected: downloading, screen capture and screen recording are blocked, and trying to get round this can end your access.
- Teacher courses are made by independent teachers. A lecture is shown to learners only after the administrator has approved it.
Your agreement
When you create an account you tick a box to say that you accept these Terms of Use, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy. We keep a record of the day and the version you accepted. Every transaction in the app is final and non-refundable.
Prices and payment
- Prices are set only by the administrator. A teacher cannot set or change a price.
- In the App Store and Google Play versions you pay through Apple or Google, and the store shows the price in your currency. In the website and direct-download versions you pay through SSLCommerz (bKash, Nagad, cards). Every payment is final and non-refundable (see the Refund Policy).
- No wallet. The app does not hold your money. Credits you earn by watching ads have no cash value, can be spent only inside the app and cannot be withdrawn or sent to another person.
Ratings
After buying a teacher course you can give it 1 to 5 stars. There are no written comments. You may change your star rating later.
Refunds
All payments are non-refundable, except where the law or the store requires otherwise. See the Refund Policy.
Your account
You can delete your account in the app (My account > Delete my account). Purchases are non-refundable, also when an account is deleted.
Stopping access
We may stop an account that breaks these terms (for example sharing paid content or abusing payments). If we do so without a reason connected to your behaviour, we will give you access again or return what you paid for content you can no longer use.
No guarantee of an exam result
The app is a study aid. We cannot promise any score in the HSK exam or any other exam.
Changes
If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
