The Language ("the app") is operated by The Language. Questions: anbushra014@gmail.com.
This page is a plain-language draft. Have a lawyer in your country read it before you rely on it: in some countries the law gives buyers refund rights that a policy cannot remove.
All payments are non-refundable
Every payment in the app is final and non-refundable. This covers level packages, mock exams, teacher courses and anything else you buy. Please look at the free lessons and the free preview lesson of a course before you buy.
There is no money wallet
The app does not hold your money. You pay for each item directly, so there is no balance to refund. Credits you earn by watching ads are free, have no cash value and cannot be refunded or withdrawn.
Exceptions
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: Apple and Google handle these payments and decide any refund under their own rules (for Apple, "Report a Problem" at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, your order history). If a store refunds a purchase, the app removes that item from your account.
- The law: where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund, this policy does not take it away.
- Charged twice or not unlocked: if you were charged but the item did not unlock, or you were charged twice for the same item, write to anbushra014@gmail.com with your account email and the transaction ID. We will unlock the item or return the extra payment.
When a payment fails
If a payment fails, nothing is added. If your bank, bKash or Nagad still took money, it is returned by them; contact us with the transaction ID if it is not.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. A change does not apply to purchases made before it.
